Commissioning Consortium – SATB + Piano – $400

June 15, 2016 by Oliver Caplan Leave a Comment

Dear ACDA Members,

You are invited to join a consortium to commission a new piece for SATB chorus and piano.

The new work will be in three movements (18-25 minutes), setting poetry by Israeli-American author Ruth Kessler, written in the voices of three legendary women: Eve (from the bible), the Absinthe Drinker (from the painting by Degas), and Alice (in Wonderland).

Buy in for consortium members is $400 and entitles ensembles to the following:
1. Exclusive performance rights September 2016 through January 1, 2018
2. Printed score and PDF parts
3. Credit in the score as a commissioner

For more details:
-View an information sheet here: http://olivercaplan.com/2016_Caplan_Choral_Consortium.pdf
-Listen to samples of my music at www.olivercaplan.com

This is a great opportunity to reduce the financial burden of commissioning by sharing the cost, while giving your choir the experience of premiering a new piece.

Please contact me directly if you would like to join the consortium, or for more information.

Sincerely,
Oliver Caplan
