Do you like to sing major choral works? Then the Crescent Choral Society is the group for you!
Dr. Deborah Simpkin King is our newly-appointed director; and our first concert with her is all Brahms, featuring his beloved Ein Deutches Requiem, on Saturday, November 4th! For this special event, we invite you to sing with the well-established Crescent Choral Society. The compact sequence of 9 rehearsals begins on Monday (weekly rehearsal evening), September 11th, and includes a dress rehearsal on Friday, November 3rd.
If you know the Brahms Requiem and love to sing it, do come. If you have never sung it, this is your opportunity to add it to your repertoire. And, since we are doing Brahms’ own two-piano scoring, we are rounding out the program with selections from his delightful Liebeslieder Walzer, op. 52, as a bonus!
In order to reserve your place in the Choral Society for the Brahms, please either provide your information in this one-minute info form, or write to Bing Bills .
