Three positions (Soprano, Tenor and Bass) are open as paid Choral Scholars with Voices Chorale NJ, a premier, auditioned chorus in the Princeton, NJ area. Rehearsals are Monday nights 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. in Hopewell, NJ.
Voices Chorale NJ is committed to furthering the musical education of our members and to provide opportunities for excellence in performance.
Scholars are upperclassmen and graduates who provide leadership for dedicated adult singers who greatly appreciate the example and inspiration the scholar can provide. Through excellence in musicianship, the scholar may also share areas of expertise such as vocal technique, IPA pronunciation, or section leading.
Our Spring repertoire is a concert of Shakespeare settings, with performances on May 10 at 8:00 p.m. in Trenton NJ, and May 11 at 8:00 p.m. in Princeton NJ.
Stipends are paid for rehearsals and concerts, slightly higher for graduates than for upperclassmen.
Rates for the 2019 season are:
