Choral Scholar position earns paid stipend for rehearsals and concerts

Three positions are currently available: Alto, Tenor, and Bass.

Provide vocal expertise and leadership to assist dedicated adult singers who greatly appreciate the scholar’s example and inspiration while learning and performing. The scholar also shares areas of expertise such as warm-ups, vocal technique, IPA pronunciation, or sectionals.

December repertoire: varied selection of holiday works, including two sections of Vaughan William’s ‘Folk Songs of the Four Seasons.’ We are also focused on music by English composer Will Todd, who will be in residence the week of our December concert.

Fall Performance: Friday, December 16 at 8:00 p.m. in Princeton, NJ.
Spring Performance: TBD

Audition and rehearsal location: Music Together, 225 Pennington-Hopewell Road, Hopewell, NJ 08525 (less than 15-minute drive from downtown Princeton)

Rehearsal Schedule: Monday nights 7:30-9:30 PM, starting September 12, plus one dress rehearsal per venue.

Rates:

• Undergrad: $30 per rehearsal and $40 per concert*

• Grad: $40 per rehearsal and $50 per concert*
