Choir for Commission

May 9, 2017 by David Lipten 2 Comments

Composer seeks choir for commission proposal to the Fromm Foundation/Harvard University. Application requires a letter of commitment for the piece’s premiere. Choir must be comfortable with contemporary repertoire (professional or highly skilled amateurs). I can provide you with written and recorded samples of my work to familiarize you with my style, in general, and with the kinds of texts I wish to set. Application/letter deadline June 1. Please contact me at . Thank you for your interest.

I neglected to mention that the commission includes a small remuneration for the choir.

Hi, you did not identify yourself, but would you kindly let me know how this tactic works out, whether you get any nibbles? You did not list any incentives for the choir==do they get money?

    Best regards,
    David Avshalomov
