Bass section leader

The Hudson Chorale, which rehearses Monday evenings from 7:30-10PM in Pleasantville, NY (a less than one hour train ride from Grand Central Station and a 3 minute from the Pleasantville Station) is looking for a bass section leader to start with our new program Mendelssohn’s Elijah with full orchestra: first rehearsal 25 January, concert Saturday 14 May at 7:30PM dress rehearsal Friday 13 May at 7PM).  If you are a bass who is personable, has excellent sight reading skills, works well within a chorus and is dependable please contact me.  The position pays $40 per hour ($100 per rehearsal) all inclusive.  We’d also like to have a ringer for the bass section for our upcoming concert on Sunday 24 January at 3PM, dress rehearsal Friday 22 January at 7PM: repertoire Duruflé: Requiem (with organ), Poulenc: the four Christmas Motets and Messiaen: O Sacrum Convivium.  We offer an honorarium for these two days of $240 total all inclusive.
