Bass/baritone section leader/mentor for capable church ensemble

August 17, 2018 by Deborah King Leave a Comment

Must have strong vocal and ensemble chops, including very sharp sight reading skills. Must be comfortable mentoring (as section leader) volunteer singers in the section. This is a good quality volunteer chamber choir.

• NJTransit access; I-78W 25 miles from Holland Tunnel
• Weekly commitment: Sundays, 9 AM – 1:15 PM; the usual feast days.
• $125 per call

Hiring director is Deborah Simpkin King, conductor of Ember (EmberEnsemble.org). If interested, please request an audition via the Ember auditions portal (EmberEnsemble.org/auditions), and indicate in the comments section that your interest is in the church position. A hire will be made following the August 20 and 21 auditions
