Auditions for Staff Singers

St. John’s Church, Episcopal, in Savannah is the largest traditional 1928 Prayer Book Parish in the US. The adult parish choir repertoire ranges from Gregorian chant through current literature. We are currently looking for additional Staff Singers for all parts, including countertenors, to supplement our small core of professional and volunteer singers. Singers who are able to sing with a straight tone (in the treble parts) are especially encouraged to apply. Obligations include one rehearsal and service weekly and one Evensong per month with optional opportunities for rehearsals and teaching. Compensation is commensurate with skill and experience.
