The Ars Musica Chorale, an accomplished, 75-voice chorus, welcomes auditions from experienced choral singers in all sections for our 2016–2017 Season, which includes works by Rossini, Handel, Beethoven, Vaughan Williams, Haydn, and more. New members of Ars Musica can expect to be welcomed into the tristate’s warmest choral family and to perform four concert programs per season of challenging and rewarding choral works in some of the region’s most beautiful venues.
Prospective singers are invited, but not required, to perform a solo of their choice and will be led through a series of simple vocalises to determine vocal range and quality as well as a brief sight-singing exercise. To schedule an audition or to learn more, please visit www.arsmusica.org/auditions or write to us at
Founded in 1965, Ars Musica began as a small community chorus. Now, more than fifty years later, Ars Musica is recognized as one of the most accomplished choruses in the area and continues to offer singers the opportunity to perform a wide variety of classical choral music. Rehearsals are held from 7:30–10:00pm on Tuesday evenings from early September through early June at the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood, 113 Cottage Place, Ridgewood, NJ.
