2017 / 2018 New Singer Auditions for Angelica Encore Choral Ensemble Now Open!

Who Is Angelica Encore?
Angelica Encore Choral Ensemble is a Bloomington, MN based community choir, providing a continuing choral experience for adults since 2011. Encore strives to illuminate an individual’s life-long connection to singing and serve as an example to the young singers of Angelica Cantanti Youth Choirs, with whom we are affiliated.

In Encore, we’re achieving musical excellence both on a personal and professional level, lead by Artistic Director, Nancy Grundahl. We sing enjoyable, challenging music ranging from sacred to secular, multicultural and contemporary. We welcome adults with previous choral experience to join us on Thursday evenings to relax, have a little fun and make a lot of music. If you’re eager to meet like-minded, vocal music enthusiasts in your community, Angelica Encore is the choir for you!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Please bring a short prepared piece if you so choose, however it is not mandatory. Nancy will cover scales and vocal range, pitch matching, and a short sight-reading exercise during the auditions.
