Alto Position Opening

An alto position is open at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Greenwich
Village, 371 Sixth Ave, beginning in June. The choir is an 8-voice professional
ensemble, which sings each Sunday at the 11:30 AM Mass, preceded by a choir
rehearsal from 10-11:30. This is a year round position with 8 singers performing
during the months of September through May and a quartet of singers each
Sunday during the summer. The stipend is $125 with the fees changing with
additional rehearsal time. I am looking for experienced professional singers who
understand how to sing in an informed choral style and are vocally flexible.
Repertoire ranges from Gregorian chant through current repertoire. Interested
