2012 is finally here! And the year has already gotten off to a tremendous start. From outstanding national media recognition to exciting event planning progress and new sponsorship announcements that you will read about below, we're on the road to producing the most successful World Choir Games ever.
Our marketing efforts are in full swing on the local, regional, national and international levels. In the coming weeks, 80 World Choir Games banners will be hung throughout downtown to promote the Games, the media team will be visiting regional and national journalists for desk-side visits and Whirl and Twirl will continue to be out and about around the community – you might even see that they've traveled all the way to New York City.
This week we announced an exciting opportunity for businesses throughout the region to get involved with the Games. We'll be hosting a "Vendor Matchmaker" event at the Duke Energy Convention Center at 9 a.m. on February 9 for businesses to learn more about opportunities to provide services for the 2012 World Choir Games.
