SYDNEY, AUS — It's the community choir that stands CEOs shoulder to shoulder with refugees and stay-at-home mums. After becoming hugely popular in Victoria, the With One Voice program is coming to Sydney.
Run by the non-for-profit group Creativity Australia, the choir program aims to foster relationships between people from all walks of life. Founder Tania de Jong said the idea was to bring people together.
"The goal is to bring together as many diverse values as possible on a weekly basis," she said. "The choirs are used to break down the different silos or barriers between people to create harmony and bridges of understanding."
