Winton Woods teacher is new director of Springfield Children’s Choir

CINCINNATI — Jennifer Wightman, music teacher at Winton Woods Primary North, has been named as the new director of the Springfield Children’s Choir in Springfield, Ohio. “This is a supplemental position so that I will be able to continue working at Winton Woods, but it is a great career opportunity for me,” said Wightman. “This will be a wonderful experience because their children’s choir has been inactive for several years, so I’m in on the ground floor for creating a program that is all my own. I’ve been very fortunate to have such caring and supportive colleagues and administrators, both here and in Springfield.”

“We are proud that Jennifer has been offered the opportunity and know she will do an outstanding job as she does for us,” said David Bell, fine arts facilitator for Winton Woods City Schools.
