William Baker Festival Singers & Buxtehude Membra Jesu Nostri

The William Baker Festival Singers & Chamber Orchestra, with soloists Amy Imparato, Kathleen Kennedy, Jennifer Lahasky, Sean Sweeden & Ed Frazier Davis performs Buxtehude’s largest scale work, “Membra Jesu Nostri.” The devotional work is considered the first oratorio in the Lutheran tradition. The concert will also include settings of the Adoration of the Cross by Russel Schulz-Widmar and KC composer Geoffrey Wilcken, in addition to American folk hymns and Stainer’s “God So Love the World.” William Baker, conducting.
