Who would like to stage the world premiere of “Delia”, libretto by W. H. Auden and Chester Kallman, music by Tom Cunningham?
In 2013, I was approached by the literary executor of the estate of W.H. Auden with a view to setting the opera libretto “Delia” by W. H. Auden and Chester Kallman. The libretto was written for Stravinsky but never set by him or anyone else until now. My setting, currently with piano accompaniment, is not an imitation of Stravinsky but is in my own style, described by one critic as “instantly accessible, incredibly melodic”. The opera is in one act lasting around 75 minutes. You can read a synopsis on

Please contact if you would like to stage this work.
