Whitman’s “Turn, O Libertad” now for SATB a cappella

January 4, 2014 by Ken Malucelli Leave a Comment

I’ve been asked to create an SATB a cappella version of my fuller settings of Walt Whitman’s powerful poem, “Turn, O Libertad,” originally set for SATB chorus and both piano 4 hands and symphonic orchestra.  You may hear a midi file of the orig. v. (w/piano) on my Web site, kenmalucelli.com.  Click on Secular Choral, scroll down to title and click on blue play tab.  There is also a new SSAA + piano 4 hand version available.

Sample pages of each version are available on request.

Thanks much for your interest.
