LONDON — A choir from Potters Bar sang in harmony with schoolchildren across the world to create an Olympic record.

Capital Arts Children’s Choir in Darkes Lane recorded their part of Gloria in Londinium at Abbey Road Studios, to mark the 2012 London Games.  The song, which is sung by hundreds of children from all over the world, welcomes Olympic athletes to the capital.

Kathleen Shanks, music director, said: “The aim of the video it to be part of the cultural Olympics to unite children’s choirs from around the world in a common cause in the same way as the athletes have come together for London 2012.
