Andrew Marvell’s (1621-1678) famous seduction poem is full of saucy humor, and also reflections on human mortality.
My SATB setting, 5:10, is moderately difficult, somewhat following the mostly homophonic style of English madrigals,
and briskly paced in its opening and closing sections.
All my works are written in Sibelius, so fully professional copies are available in hard copy or PDF, and mp3 demos as well.
Please have a look at some of my other works on my ChoralNet page, and more on my site: www.jamesjohnsonmusic.net
