This work is for SATB & organ, with optional solo cello and timpani, is very much in the French style, with a distinctive organ part. The text is partially in Latin (outer movements) and English (appropriate Psalm settings in the Coverdale translation as used in UK Anglican cathedrals: in addition to performances of the entire work, individual psalm settings can of course be used as anthems at any time of the liturgical year. It is a work deserving of a North American premiere and commercial recording in a spacious acoustic and with a French-style organ.
