In honor of this past June’s Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale’s 50th Anniversary concert at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, I was commissioned to write two works about the future. One “Stardate 101,” posits what may await the future of the earth if we don’t take care of it; the other, “The Promise of Three Moments,” sees the future as the intersection of past, present and imagination. Both works are for SATB and either piano or ensemble. I also have an SSAA arrangement of “Stardate 101.” If you would like to receive perusal copies and recordings, please contact me at
I look forward to seeing many of you at next months ACDA Conference where Andre Thomas will be conducting a performance of my “Alzheimer’s Stories” and Grammy Award winning librettist Herschel Garfein and myself will be giving an interest session.
