The Advent Project: Conversation Concert – All Mozart

The Advent Project’s next “Conversation Concert” is Sunday, 22 October, 2017, 4:00 pm at Hughes United Methodist Church, 10700 Georgia Avenue, Wheaton, MD 20902. Admission isfree for this All-Mozart program, featuring the “Coronation” Mass, KV 317. The Introduction,given by conductor Richard Allen Roe, with guest artist Diana V. Saez, will be in English and Spanish. Diana Saez is well known to Montgomery County audiences as the founder and conductor of the latino choral group, “Cantigas.” Soloists for the Mass are Laura Choi Stuart, soprano; Adrienne Ivey, mezzo-soprano; Joseph Regan, tenor; and Andrew Sauvageau, baritone.
Also on the program: “Exsultate, jubilate,” KV 165 with soprano Laura Choi Stuart, and the Epistle Sonata, KV 329, featuring Mark W. Frazier, organ, with the professional musicians of The Advent Project. Admission free, suggested donation: $20
The concert is supported in part by a grant from the Wheaton Arts and Entertainment District grant program of the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, and the Montgomery County Executive’s Ball Fund.
