Stardust, now available in TBB!

B.E. Boykin recently burst into the scene and has rapidly become a very popular composer. Bestseller “Stardust” is a beautiful and stirring call for justice, and it’s now available in a TBB voicing!

Stardust

Available for SATB, piano, and djembe,
SSA, piano, and djembe, and
NEW! TBB, piano, and djembe.

Difficulty:

We hope that this piece stirs all who hear it to call for justice for the people of color taken from this world before their time and without concern for their humanity.

O Magnum Mysterium

Available for SSAA a cappella choir
and NEW! TTBB a cappella choir

Difficulty:

Brief rests throughout “O Magnum Mysterium”  propel the work forward, as though the singers themselves gasp in wonder. Animated homophony transitions into a lyrical compound meter, evoking a gentle lullaby. The work concludes with a series of intense, reflective “alleluias.”

New from Tracy Wong!

Noriteo

Available for SSA choir and percussion
by GiUng Lee 이기웅, in the Tracy Wong Series

Difficulty:

“Noriteo” is a dynamic piece that combines a Korean children’s game folk melody and a groove based on traditional Korean rhythms. Set for 3-part treble voices, the percussion ostinati are easy to learn and fun to play. A great piece for dynamic and visually appealing chorister-percussionists. Everyone loves that!

GiUng Lee 이기웅 is a Korean-Canadian jack-of-all- trades music educator and musician based in Winnipeg, Canada. GiUng currently teaches grade 6-12 music at St. John’s-Ravenscourt School, where he is designing and implementing a project-based music curriculum rooted in cultural relevance, and student creativity. As a choral leader, GiUng previously served as Artistic Director and Conductor of Prairie Voices, an award-winning youth/young adult community choir.

Check out this fabulous video of this BESTSELLING work.

Sometimes a good video is better than any words. Check out this great performance of Tracy Wong’s “Kira” for children’s choir with percussion. A rich experience on multiple levels.

“Kira,” by Tracy Wong, performed by Colorado Children’s Chorale directed by Emily Crile.

If you loved that performance, you’ll love performing it with your choir!

Kira!

3-part treble, percussion (any hand drum available to the choir)
Practice Tracks available!

Difficulty:

This playful composition for 3-part treble choir and percussion is a nod to Malay folk songs that merge counting/play (common in some childhood games) and sage advice.

More works from the Tracy Wong Series!
