Stardate 101: The Video

I am thrilled to announce that Nan North’s extraordinary animation of a performance of my choral work “Stardate 101” commissioned by the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale, conducted by Jeffrey R. Smith, has been posted on YouTube. The piece is a cautionary tale of what the future of the Earth may be if we do not heed environmental concerns. Scored for SATB choir and a small ensemble (or piano alone) the work is also available in an SSAA version. Nan’s visual interpretation of this work can only be described as spectacular, stunning and incredible. I hope those of you who watch it will feel the same and spread the word.
