Star of the East (SATB, with some divisions) by Gordon Thornett

This reflective new setting of the Epiphany carol, ‘Brightest and best of the sons of the morning’, has just been published by the Oxford University Press (OUP). The accompaniment is for either piano or organ, and an optional orchestration will be available from the publisher’s hire library.
This piece, about 4 minutes in duration, is very suitable for a Christmas concert or carol service. It has received a number of successful performances as a self published piece in Norway, UK and the USA, but is now available only through OUP.
