The St. Olaf Choir and conductor Dr. Anton Armstrong will soon embark on a two-week tour to Japan and the Republic of Korea. Join them for a special send-off concert at the Ordway, where audiences will get a full preview of the tour program. Tickets are $18-$33 for adults and FREE for students. Groups of 10 and more will receive a 10% discount.

The program will feature works by J.S. Bach, Kim André Arnesen, Brahms, Whitacre, Vaughan Williams, and Ligeti, as well as Minnesota composers John Ferguson, Daniel Kallman, and the founder of the St. Olaf Choir, F. Melius Christiansen. The final set of pieces will feature folksongs from Japan, the Republic of Korea, and the United States. They will close the concert with a traditional African-American spiritual arranged by Moses G. Hogan Jr.
