Socially Conscious Choral Music Reading Session-March 13

February 23, 2018 by Wendy Moy 1 Comment

Socially Conscious Choral Music Reading Session
hosted by Chorosynthesis and the Santa Monica College Music Department

Tuesday, March 13, 7:00-8:30 pm
Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center
1310 11th Street, Santa Monica, California 90401

Come sing through vetted, new music that has spurred profound conversations and is making waves by its socially conscious relevance and inherent compositional quality. . . Receive a packet of music and a list of resources for finding more new, socially conscious music on your own. (Those attending the Western Division American Choral Directors Association Conference are especially welcome to add this to the beginning of your week. Enjoy the Santa Monica Pier and Beach afterward!)

Attendance is free, but requires a ticket.

Tickets can be picked up at the SMC Music Department Office two weeks prior to the event or reserved by contacting Jeremiah Selvey at .

Wendy, have you picked all the music yet? I’d like to offer some selections from my catalog of choral compositions. Please let me know by email:
