PROJECT : ENCORE™ Recognizes 4 Composers in Final Quarter of 2015

January 14, 2016 by Darlene Wyzga Leave a Comment

As always, it is a great joy to announce this quarter’s marvelous new compositions accepted into the PROJECT : ENCORE™ Catalog of Contemporary Choral Music:

  • John Muehleisen — When All Is Done
  • Paul Hennessee — The Land of Nod
  • Zach Heyde — Mutability
  • Bill Heigen — Set Me As a Seal

Zach and Paul are both new to the PROJECT : ENCORE™ family of composers. Welcome! – and, congratulations, Zach and Paul, on your new acceptances!

P:E in the news. . .
The November issue of the Choral Journal, featured our article on PROJECT : ENCORE. If you haven’t seen it, take a look: PROJECT : ENCORE™:  Quality-Tested New Music beyond Traditional Publication. Help P:E go to work on behalf of all our composers by encouraging other musicians you know to sign up for our quarterly updates.

Reminder. . .
January 15th is the next P:E submission deadline.

Update and transition…

P:E has benefited from the superb operations management of Darlene Wyzga for almost two years. Under her management, all elements of ongoing process haven been significantly streamlined, and professional visibility has been enhanced. We are saddened that this is her last quarter in the role of P:E Operations Manager, and recognize that her contribution is a lasting one.

Arielle Sypa comes to P:E as Darlene’s successor from Hunter College, where she received her bachelor in music. She is interested in pursuing a masters degree in Music Technology, and sings a pretty mean alto in Schola! Arielle is “very excited to begin working with everyone involved with P:E!” Arielle and Darlene are working closely together in this transition.
