Formed in 2007, this year its members were voted Wedding Musicians of the Year. They peformed at the Dublin World Street Performance and sung in front of 15,000 spectators at the opening ceremony of the Eucharistic Congress in June. Choir spokesperson, Ciara Gallagher, said it was formed in 2007 with the aim of bringing soul to the people of Ireland. The Choir have since toured around Ireland with Jack L, appeared on RTÉ’s Don’t Tell the Bride, The Saturday Night Show with Brendan O’Connor and featured on Radio 1, 2fm and Today FM.
They have also performed for countless charities, companies and festivals including, Special Olympics Ireland, Console, Culture Night and The Dublin City Soul Festival. Said Ciara: “This year we were voted the Wedding Musicians of the Year in a competition on realweddings.ie and we had the honour of performing at the opening ceremony of the Eucharistic Congress 2012 in front of 15000 spectators at the RDS on 10 June. We also recently performed at the Dublin World Street Performance Championships in July in Merrion Square in Dublin.”
