Dear Choral Colleagues,
Are you programming John Rutter’s Requiem for your 2026–2027 season, or looking for a transformative, premier performance opportunity to anchor your ensemble’s spring tour?
I am thrilled to invite collegiate, community, and advanced high school/church choirs to join me in New York City on May 29, 2027, to form a dynamic festival chorus at Carnegie Hall for a performance of this monumental work, presented by MidAmerica Productions.
One of the greatest joys of Rutter’s Requiem is its versatility; many of our ensembles perform it locally using the intimate chamber orchestration. This festival residency offers your singers the rare, thrilling opportunity to scale up their experience and perform the work with the full colors of the New England Symphonic Ensemble on one of the world’s most iconic stages.
