“Orison” is a simple Benediction. The tenor line goes no lower than a g’ and the whole thing is very sing-able with or without a quiet organ. As usual, it’s available for free download at http://www.graymichael.com
It’s pretty old; so why am I publishing it now?
Most of you won’t be in front of your beloved choirs for quite awhile so I hope you’ll take a few quiet moments to just read it for yourself. It’s always held a special place for me (in spite of it’s quirks) because it was the only piece that ever came to me in a dream, it got me through some tough years, and it always brings me a little peace of mind when things get really dark. I hope it will for you too.
Love,
…and see you on the flip side!
