Come ‘road test’ Schola Cantorum on Hudson! Sing with us in our first rehearsal; then, stay for (or schedule) an audition afterwards, if you think you may have found a match. Send us your name and the section in which you prefer to sing, so we can prepare a music folder for you:

With our return to Video Games Live at NJPAC this December, SCH is auditioning aggressively this season, as we expand our singing membership with experienced singers. Although all talent is warmly welcomed to this first rehearsal, specific openings remaining are: 1-alto2; 2-tenor1; 1-tenor2; 3-baritones; 2 basses.

Given what is already a large incoming class, our initial focus will be on solidifying vocal technique, choral leadership, and supporting solo preparedness as we build our season’s repertoire. Solo technique is supported and nurtured through exclusive solo selection from within the ensemble, and through the Schola Sings Solo recital series.

SCH is a non-profit organization with a mission of making a profound difference in the lives of singers and audiences alike; and, by extension, making a positive difference in the world.
