Lamb of God by PAUL BOUMAN
This setting of the Agnus Dei text is comprised in three sections–all fashioned from the tune Christe, du Lamm Gottes. The work begins with a more ornate melody with lush harmonies. As each verse continues, the melody becomes less ornate–ending with an emotional “grant us peace” and a series of exquisite Amens.
