New SATB setting of “Invictus” from composer Jeffrey Cobb

October 7, 2019 by Jeffrey Cobb Leave a Comment

Introducing an exciting new setting of the powerful poem “Invictus” by poet William Henley – a poem about struggle and strength. The piece begins with an eerie and ethereal introduction featuring a solo voice, then the journey begins as SATB voices are joined by a driving accompaniment. Emotions range from forceful and commanding, to plaintive and reflective – a very powerful piece!
