New Sacred Pieces for Choir/Orchestra or Choir/Brass

Southeastern Music presents several new titles from Terre Johnson:
 
O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing – SATB, Organ, Handbells, Congregation, Brass (4 horns, 3 Trumpets, 3 Trombones, Tuba) Timpani. An elegant festival setting, with an original verse of text, recently commissioned and now available.
Sing We Now of Christmas – SATB, Organ, Handbells, Brass Quintet (2 Trumpets, F Horn, Trombone, Tuba), Timpani. An energetic new setting of the familiar carol, recently commissioned and now available.
Welcome All Wonders – SATB, Orchestra: (2/2/2/2-2/2/0/0) Str. (cello solo), hp. timp. An original setting of the evocative Elizabethan poetry of Richard Crashaw.
Of the Father’s Love Begotten – TTBB, Orchestra: (1/1/0/1-0/0/0/0) Str., hp. The beloved Christmas hymn, with an original verse, set for men’s chorus.
Thou Didst Leave Thy Throne – SSA, Orchestra: Strings (cello solo) and Harp. A new setting of the text by Emily Elliott, for women’s voices.
