Please view and listen to my new arrangement of Three Fishers Went Sailing, based on the melody of the Victorian era parlour song by John Pyke Hullah (1812-1884) and text by Charles Kingsley (1819-1875). Three Fishers Went Sailing is scored for SAB choir, piano, and cello. The soaring melodies, memorable harmonic dissonances, rhythmic and metrical shifts, and thoughtful text painting, is accessible to most middle school and high school choral students, while challenging enough to maintain their interest. Three Fishers Went Sailing adds to the intrinsically valuable SAB choral literature available to school and community choirs.
