Season’s Greetings from Down Under!
Here’s a short piece you might like to consider for 2016. It’s my new setting of Christ has no Body now on Earth but Yours, which received its first performance in Helsingborg, Sweden, last night.
No divisi – no staggered breathing – suitable for a quartet. In fact, the piece is mostly in one or three parts, and should be quite straightforward to rehearse. I’ve aimed to keep the music simple and melodic, and to feature the beautiful, pure sound of unaccompanied voices.
