I am proud to announce that my new edition of “Et Resurrexit” by Giacomo Puccini “senior” (great great grandfather of the more famous opera composer of the same name), for SSA choir and keyboard accompaniment (optional unison violins, cello, bass and continuo), has just been published by Hinshaw Music Inc. (HMC 2288). This piece is the final movement from Puccini’s “Messa a 3”, is approximately 3:28 in duration, and is appropriate for medium/advanced junior high, high school and adult age treble choirs. This year, 2012, is the 300th birthday of Puccini “senior”, and this brand new edition would be an excellent way to celebrate the occasion.
You can view a PDF of the first two pages of the vocal score or listen to a complete recording by going to www.hinshawmusic.com and typing Et Resurrexit into the search button on the home page. If you have any questions about this new publication, feel free to contact me. If you would like a complimentary copy of the vocal score, please email me privately here with your full name, snail mail address, and the choir you conduct for whom this publication would be appropriate.
