"We have all ages of choirs, all levels of choirs, all types of choirs," said Dean Jobin-Bevans. "Canada is a hotbed for choral composition, choral composers."
"Every program has Canadian music on it and it stands on its own with respect to the other world music," said former conductor Nick Kaethler.
Performances are happening at four venues across the city – Knox Presbyterian Church, St. Joseph's Church, First Baptist Church and Dominion Chalmers United Church.
"The most amazing this is the kids singing," Kaethler said. "You think you've heard the best and the next one knocks your socks off and it really was wonderful."
