Mystery donor gives 5,000 euros donation to Bath choir

May 29, 2012 by Richard Allen Roe Leave a Comment

BATH, UK — Braunschweiger Zeitung featured a story about St Andrew’s C of E Primary following a visit to the school.  The cash donation was left in an envelope outside Braunschweig Cathedral referring to the newspaper article.

Head teacher Sue East said: “It was an emotional moment because I felt vindicated for all our work.”  Also inside the envelope was a note inviting the choir to sing at Braunschweig Cathedral.  “As long we’ve got the right number of adults, we can do it and make it happen for these children, it’s wonderful,’ Ms East said.  “We’re planning it now…we’ve got children playing instruments, those who take dance and drama, we hope to take a range of them.”  A number of worthy causes in the German city have also benefited from the mystery donations and all of them have referred to newspaper articles.
