POSITION: MMus in Choral Conducting degree program
The choral conducting master’s degree at Houghton College seeks to provide young musicians with significant podium time and instruction. Masters students can expect to be the assistant conductor of the Men’s Choir, Women’s Choir, College Choir and several other vocal chamber ensembles. In addition, professional singing opportunities exist with Vox Lumine rounding the students experience fully. Houghton College Choral Conducting Masters of Music graduates have been accepted to PHD and DMA conducting programs across the country and have participated in Regional and National ACDA Choral Conducting Competitions and Master-classes. We are deeply committed to our students and have a proven record of accomplishment in all areas of choral music.
STIPEND: Well-qualified applicants will receive up-to-full waiver of tuition and applied fees as well as a stipend of up to $10,000.
