Medicine Hat College Girls Choir takes passion from director

MEDICINE HAT, AB, CANADA — The sound of young people singing perfectly in tune, is often compared to the voices of angels. For those that missed the choral portion of the 57th annual Medicine Hat Rotary Music Festival, fear not, the angelic voices of the Medicine Hat College Girls Choir can be heard again very soon.

The group’s talent and hard work in preparation for the festival earned them an invitation to perform again at the Rose Bowl competition on March 16.
It’s easy to see where the choir’s passion for music comes from after speaking with the college’s choral director, Bradley van Middelkoop.

“I’ve had a life long love of music and it’s always been a hobby,” said van Middelkoop.
