Lenawee Community Chorus ready for first concert with new director

Adrian, MI – Brian Altevogt knows full well the dynamic that exists when a new leader first works with a group of people, and vice versa.

“They’re trying to figure me out, and I’m trying to figure out who they are,” he said with a laugh.

Such was the case in September when Altevogt started rehearsals for the upcoming Lenawee Community Chorus concert, his first as its new director. He replaces Tom Hodgman, who has stepped down after several years at the ensemble’s helm.
