Koor is a new company that was started just prior to the first lockdown in March. The company was created with a straightforward aim; to create an app for choral singers that would make individual choir practice more enjoyable and effective. Unfortunately, Covid-19 has temporarily silenced choirs around the world. So, undeterred, Koor has continued to support choral singers during lockdown by providing online workshops and performances. They are closing out the year with a special, one-hour, live-streamed Christmas concert from Saint John’s Smith Square in London on Monday 21st of December.
For this delightfully festive concert, the sixteen-voice Koor Singers are joined by fifteen members of Koor Players as well as the incomparable Mary Bevan and Roderick Williams for an uplifting programme of beautiful, comforting Christmas music.
