In February of 2020 the Kiev Symphony Chorus performed Dr. Larry Nickel’s “Requiem for Peace”. Note the lyrics by Anna Akmatova in the movement Dvadtsat Vosyem Shtïkovïkh “The Russian soil loves – loves droplets of blood”.
