I am pleased to offer my editions of vocal works by the “Father of Swedish Music,” Johan Helmich Roman. Included among my editions are works for mixed chorus, like- and mixed-voice duets, and solo voice, some with obbligato instrument or full strings. All works are available either in hard copy or as PDFs with permission to photocopy.
The original Swedish orthography appears along with modernized Swedish; English translations are printed in the scores. Full source notation and editorial notes are provided with each publication.
Most works are psalm settings, but some draw text from elsewhere in scripture. When the text finds a place in the Revised Common Lectionary, the product description includes that information.
