A public memorial service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 23 to celebrate the life of IZOD IndyCar series driver Dan Wheldon.  The Indianapolis Children’s Choir will participate in the service to be held at Conseco Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.  The artistic and adminstrative staff, led by ICC founder and artistic director Henry Leck, worked together to accomodate this last minute request, as many singers and families are out of town on fall break.  The choir at the memorial service will be comprised of singers from three different ICC choirs , and assistant artistic director Josh Pedde will help prepare the singers.  Auto racing is a part of the fabric of the entire Indianapolis community, and the ICC is honored to give back to that same community its been a part of for over 25 years.
