No, really, I’m not kidding! This zany Tom Lehrer piece was originally arranged for SATB a cappella (and, yes, kazoos) for the Merrie Olde Christmas Carolers (tmocc.com), after which I was asked to revise it for TTBB (and those kazoos), for the Golden Gate Men’s Chorus, which sang it during their Christmas concerts the following year. Then recently I was asked about it by Chicago’s Windy City Chorus and San Francisco’s Lollipop Guild, both of which will be singing it during their upcoming holiday concerts. There isn’t a live recording of it, yet, but you can hear a midi on my recording engineer’s subsite: http://sites.google.com/site/sbarta30/mocc
It’s the 2nd track down on the third playlist, right after “Fum, Fum, Fum.” The score is totally digitalized, so a pdf sampler is available for perusal.
Jolly Holidays, All!
