Hudson Community Chorus welcomes Duvuvuei as new director

Duvuvuei brings an extensive background in music to the position, with studies at Alderson-Broaddus College and the University of Akron including a Masters of Music degree in Choral Conducting Performance. Duvuvuei is an accomplished vocalist and conductor. His solo performances include appearances with The University of Akron and Ashland Symphony orchestras, as well as appearances at the Coro Festival in Tolosa, Spain and the Mozart Festival in Salzburg, Austria.

As a member of A Cappella Nuance, an a cappella vocal jazz ensemble, Duvuvuei won first place in the Seghizzi 45th Concorso Internazionale di Canto Corale in Gorizia, Italy.

Duvuvuei is Director of Choral Studies and Music Department Chair of Ashland High School in Ashland and currently resides in Cuyahoga Falls.
