“I’m 39, and I still talk about when I was 15 and the (baseball) All-Star Game, chasing those guys through the Hyatt,” said Arey, of Wilder.
So Saturday’s scorching heat didn’t deter Arey and his wife, Missi, from bringing their two daughters, ages 3 and 6 months, to Fountain Square for the World Choir Games. They planned to spend a couple of hours Downtown, take a break from the heat at home and then head to Devou Park in Covington for a Friendship Concert Saturday evening.
“We want the girls to have some sort of memory of this,” Kevin Arey said. “Because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing.”
